Lukas Tiefenthaler

Lukas studied applied physics and ion physics at the University of Innsbruck under the guidance of Paul Scheier. During his PhD, he conducted research on ions at ultra-low temperatures within a super fluid helium matrix. After graduating in 2021, Lukas spent three years in the industry, specializing in the design of cutting-edge lithium batteries for construction machinery, honing his skills in control systems and electronics. In 2024, he joined the VQCC’s Satellite Quantum Lab team as a postdoctoral researcher.
