About me
Xoel Sixto obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the University of Santiago de Compostela in 2020, and he pursued a Master’s degree in Physics, specializing in nuclear and particle physics, at the same university, completing it in 2021. Currently, he is a predoctoral FPI researcher under the supervision of Marcos Curty and a member of the theory group at VQCC. His research focuses primarily on Quantum Key Distribution (QKD), with a specific emphasis on developing security proofs that consider the experimental imperfections observed in realistic devices.
