Polina Acheva

Polina Acheva got her Bachelor’s degree in Optical Engineering from Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography, Moscow, in 2022. Now she is a research assistant under Vadim Makarov’s supervision and a Quantum Hacking Lab member. She plans to get a Master’s degree in Quantum Technologies. Her research mainly focuses on the practical security of quantum key distribution (QKD) devices, with a special interest in vulnerabilities of single-photon detectors.
