About me
Daniil Trefilov got his Bachelor’s degree in Infocommunication Technologies and Systems from the HSE University Moscow in 2019 and obtained his Master’s degree in Electronics and Nanoelectronics with Honors from the same university in 2021. At the moment, he is a predoctoral researcher under Vadim Makarov’s supervision and a Quantum Hacking Lab member. Daniil Trefilov in his research mainly focuses on the practical security of quantum key distribution (QKD) devices, with a special interest in imperfect quantum state preparation vulnerabilities of QKD systems.
