“Quantum Communications in Europe”

On June 5, 2024, a prominent conference on quantum communications took place at the AXA Auditorium in Barcelona, featuring a gathering of experts from academia, industry, and innovation. The event, titled “Quantum Communications in Europe: Building the next generation of European quantum technology,” was jointly organized by the European projects Quantum Secure Networks Partnership (QSNP) and Quantum Internet Alliance (QIA), and hosted by ICFO. The conference served as a platform for experts, policymakers, and technology start-ups to explore recent developments and foster partnerships in this groundbreaking sector. During the event, both Guillermo Currás-Lorenzo and Margarida Pereira gave a poster presentation on the latest results from the VQCC.
