The VQCC present at
the Pint of Science.

Pint of Science (POS) is an international festival simultaneously held in multiple cities around the globe where researchers from very diverse fields share their knowledge while having a drink in the relaxed environment of a bar.

On May the 13th, Dr. Víctor Zapatero, senior post-doc at the VQCC, attended a POS evening in Cañaveral, a popular bar in the heart of Vigo. With a humorous and non-technical approach, Víctor presented the current status of conventional cryptography, the threat posed by quantum computing, and the singular solution that quantum key distribution brings to the table.
