Alvaro Navarrete was awarded a postdoctoral
grant from the Xunta de Galicia.

Our postdoctoral researcher from the Quantum Communication Theory Group, Álvaro Navarrete, has been awarded a postdoctoral grant from the Xunta de Galicia starting on July 1st, 2025, under the “Axudas de apoio á etapa de formación posdoutoral” programme to support his work at the University of Vigo and the Vigo Quantum Communication Center. The programme is designed to foster the integration of talented postdoctoral researchers into the Galician R&D ecosystem and to strengthen their scientific careers.

This competitive grant includes funding for an international research stay of 20 to 24 months, which Álvaro will carry out at the University of Toyama (Japan), joining the Quantum Information Research Group led by Prof. Kiyoshi Tamaki.
