VQCC researchers visit
the University of Münster

In February, our quantum hackers, Polina Acheva and Konstantin Zaitsev from the VQCC visited the University of Münster to test superconducting detectors for safe QKD applications. The University of Münster develops unique microscale detectors that are good candidates for on-chip integrated devices. VQCC specialists were invited as world-known experts in QKD security certification.

Together, both teams worked on single-photon detectors designed to be safe against bright-light attacks. After a series of experiments and discussions, we are preparing a report on the results of our joint testing.
