“The VQCC at the Program
Efervescencia of Radio Galega”

The Program Efervescencia of October 12, 2023, of Radio Galega was dedicated to Quantum Technologies, and to some of the key initiatives that are currently being developed in Galicia in this area. This includes the recent acquisition of a quantum computer, so-called Qmio, by the Galicia Supercomputing Center (CESGA), the inauguration of the new Master on Quantum Information Science and Technology offered by the University of Santiago de Compostela, the University of A Coruña and the University of Vigo, and the Vigo Quantum Communication Center. 

To discuss these recent initiatives, the Program interviewed the director of CESGA, Lois Orosa, the scientific director of the VQCC, Prof. Marcos Curty, and the coordinator of the Master at the University of Vigo, Prof. Manuel Fernández Veiga. You can enjoy the full interview at:
