Meet the
VQCC video.
The VQCC aims to become a global reference in the development of quantum communication technologies. Its mission includes attracting international scientific talent, training the next generation of quantum professionals, and establishing strategic partnerships with academic institutions, technology centers, and industries to apply scientific advances in data security and other emerging technological areas.
It comprises four specialized research groups:
Quantum Communication Technology Group: Focuses on developing and studying novel quantum technologies for secure communication, particularly in quantum key distribution and quantum randomness generation. Their research aims to bridge the gap between fundamental quantum physics and practical applications in telecommunications.
Quantum Communication Theory Group: Specializes in the theoretical aspects of quantum communication, including the development of security models and protocols for quantum key distribution. Their work addresses challenges such as implementation security and the effects of noise in quantum systems.
Quantum Hacking & Certification Lab: Investigates potential vulnerabilities in quantum communication systems and develops methods to certify their security. This group plays a crucial role in ensuring that quantum technologies can be trusted for secure communication.
Satellite Quantum Hub: Concentrates on the integration of quantum communication technologies with satellite systems. Their research aims to enable global-scale quantum networks by overcoming challenges related to space-based communication.
Together, these groups contribute to VQCC’s mission to become a global leader in quantum communication research and development.
