Devashish Tupkary and Shlok
Nahar visit the VQCC

From September 9th to 11th, the VQCC hosted Devashish Tupkary and Shlok Nahar, PhD students at the University of Waterloo (Canada), for a research stay.

During their visit, they held in-depth discussions with members of the Quantum Communication Theory Group, including Guillermo Currás-Lorenzo, Margarida Pereira, Álvaro Navarrete, and Víctor Zapatero. These exchanges focused on their novel work on detector imperfections, “Phase Error Rate Estimation with Basis-Efficiency Mismatch for Decoy-State BB84”, as well as on the latest findings from the VQCC.

This research stay provided an opportunity for knowledge sharing and collaboration between the VQCC and the University of Waterloo.
